Great Wipers
I had purchased these wipers after my other silicone wipers had failed me, they even had a lifetime warranty. After not wanting to deal with sub-par wipers I bought these, through a friends recommendation, and will had pressed to use another brand of wiper. These wipers were so great that I bought them for my other vehicle as well. Had them for over a few months, and during rain, snow, and the weird cash wash they have endured. I ordered the Bosch 19" and 21" wipers for my 2002 Honda Civic as a part of a Buy One Bosch Blade Get One Free [...]. I probably would've never considered trying Bosch windshield blades otherwise, but I'm so happy I did.With my previous blades that I got during an oil change at a quick-lube shop, I got a lot of streaking and squeaking whenever I used them. Every time I encountered a rain storm, I had to abide the same consistent, annoying noise if I didn't want to compromise my own safety. It was very difficult to bear.Even after I pulled the trigger on buying the blades, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to install them on my car because of my lack of automotive know-how. When they came, however, my worries went away. The Bosch blade package showed me how to remove my old blades and how to install the new ones. It was a piece of cake. The only problem? They came individually in two separate boxes that were HUGE. What a waste of packing material, Amazon...

Terrific wipers in combination with RainX
Most new cars come with spring-less wipers from the manufacturer. If that's the case I don't think this makes much sense to get these.If you have an older model car that uses spring-loaded wipers that doesn't do much more than smudging water back-and-forth on your windshield, these wipers are a substantial upgrade. I first bought them for my 2001 RAV4 and replaced only one wiper just to compare side-by-side and it's like seeing half the windshield is squeaky-clean and the other half feels like looking through someone else's eyeglass. The difference is so dramatic you don't need to have the results side-by-side to know there's a huge difference. After that I bought a pair for my 2005 S2000 as well. Same great results compared against the factory spring-loaded wipers.In combination with applying RainX to the windshield, the result is very similar a brand new car off the dealer's lot. I've had these about 2 weeks on a Chevy Tahoe and they work great, the only problem is that the passenger-side blade lacks enough "spring" to follow the contour of the windshield, leaving the outermost 2 inches of the blade with virtually no contact with the glass. I'm hoping that as they age a little the rubber wiper will settle in and lower itslef closer to the glass, but who knows...

Where the rubber meets the road!
For more than 30 years, I've searched high and low for the perfect wiper blade. Being a little tiny bit obsessive about my car, one of the things I can NOT tolerate is a chattering, noisy, smeary, streaky wiper blade. Driving in the rain is hard enough without feeling like you're trying to look through a wax-paper windshield.In the past, I'd put new wiper blades on my car two or three times a year and sometimes more, just to make sure I never had to deal with wiper smear or worse, wiper chatter. That sound is like fingernails on a blackboard to me!!I'd also clean the rubber edge several times between blade changes, to keep the leading edge clean and free from debris and gooey tree gunk and junk. Due to my desire to keep the finest quality blades on the car, I'd only buy authentic Toyota blades for my 2003 Camry and then one day...An associate at the local Toyota dealer talked me into buying the rubber inserts for the blades, rather than the whole... Performs beautifully when new, but lifespan limited
I just installed my second set of Bosch ICON wiper blades on my BMW. As with the previous set, they perform beautifully in rain, silently clearing a completely streak-free path, as expected. They also work as advertised, preventing snow and ice build-up in throughout the extremes of Minnesota winters. The clean look and security provided by the latching hook cover is an added bonus.However, their lifespan is limited: both ICON blades began leaving hairline streaks after 12 months' use, so I replaced them with another set of ICONs. Why the ICONs again? I did my own little CR testing over the past year on our vehicles, comparing the Bosch ICONs with the Trico and Anco competitive models. The ICONs offered cleaner wiping through rain and snow (when new), plus have a slightly better appearance installed. Operator Error?
Reading some of the other reviews, I think some people are installing these incorrectly. The symptoms they describe sound like the first set I bought, which was for my girlfriend's 2008 Nissan Rogue. When I installed the driver's side wiper (the longer of the two) it didn't make good contact with the windshield and would have left huge streaks. There is a way to adjust how the wiper sits by fiddling with the mount. Once I did that (per the included instructions), it worked like a champ. I just put a pair on my 2010 Xterra, and didn't have to do anything special...they worked great from the start. It sometimes pays to read the instructions.As far as the blades scratching the windshield, the only thing I can think of that would cause that to happen is if they forgot to take the plastic cover off the blade. I can't see how someone might do that, but the blade itself is pretty flexible, so I have no idea how it could scratch auto glass.For me, these have... Top to learn more

Excellent Wiper Blade
The Bosch Icon wiper blade is Bosch's top of the line frameless wiper. This is an outstanding blade that is surprisingly easy to install.The most important step with wiper blades, is finding the correct blade for your care. Gone are the days when I could go to a parts counter and ask for a 24 inch refill (refills don't exist anymore). There is a part finder on Amazon. I would also recommend using the blade finder at Bosch to simply double check the blades required. A lot of cars have two blades that are a different length. Oddly, my Buick Rendezvous did not have the third rear wiper listed, the part finders both places only listed two blades. There are also A and B versions of these blades, so be certain to pick the correct blade.The hardest part of installation is removing the old wiper blade. I own an '05 Ford Escape and have tried 3 popular brands of blades, including the original Motorcraft blades. All of the blades skipped over a couple areas of the windshield. I was beginning to think the windshield was warped.The Valeo blades (20" and 18") are the only ones that make clean, solid sweeps across the entire windshield.I will purchase them again. Great! No Streaks and super-quiet!
So before these I had Bosch Icons, which were nice looking and the idea that they were not made of metal made it a number 1 choice for me since we get snow here in MN. Anways they did not do the job so well and always streaked. So I was looking for new ones and these caught my eye. So I ordered them, and they got here in 2 days, hassle-free packaging. So installation was a super-breeze, just a snap and bam they are on. I tested em with my windshield fluid and they seem to do okay, but it was no real test. So a few days later it started raining and finally with a grin on my face I got to turn on my wipers. I turn em on and you don't here the swish swish you usually hear....I heard nothing. I all could see was that it was working, it was super quiet and man was it wiping away that water flawlessly. No streaks, Man was I happy. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone. Good product with a decent price
